Although we loved the advent of autumn and winter with its cool temperatures, brilliant leaf colors and crystal blue skies, HUB is already preparing for the upcoming summer season. With a complete restyling of the spring/summer collection, HUB Footwear shows its progress as a brand and its forward-thinking attitude. The new collection is truly a perfect fit for the summer, with the introduction of classy, light and low cut models, flip flops and a sneaker collection.
After an exciting three months the polls have been closed and your votes have been cast. The IZmystore campaign has unfortunately come to an end. Our second campaign, which allowed you to design your own unique pair of HUB shoes while connecting to your favorite store, has once again exceeded our expectations.
Connect Z to your favorite HUB store and create your own pair of HUBs. Share your design with your (Facebook) friends and collect votes. Each countries winning design will be produced in an edition of 11 pairs. One pair is for yourself, and 10 pairs will be exclusively sold at your favorite HUB store. Create, connect and win!
Now, while the summer is slowly coming to an end, HUB Footwear has one more surprise. The art picnic tables will be shown one last time at the Shoot Me Film Festival. This festival based in The Hague shows independent films, plays live music and uses unique locations in the city to surprise their audience. HUB Footwear is proud to work together with Shoot Me and host the last art picnic table series. For the last time this summer we will invite a young local artist, Jordy van den Nieuwendijk, to show his creative connection to the city of The Hague. This weekend the Berlin Festival is taking off in the cultural capital of Europe; Berlin. The Berlin Festival is the ultimate place to meet people and let creativity flow, and there for HUB Footwear can't be missed on the line up. In the Art Village HUB Footwear will be showcasing a young contemporary artist. The English, but Berlin based, artist Billy and Alex is going to be painting a new series of unique art tables. billyandalex.com
All good things come to an end, including theatre festival 'De Parade'. Over the last three months eight artists have been invited by HUB Footwear to grace a series of picnic tables with their artworks. Over the course of the festival, many visitors have been in awe of the paintings, and expressed an interest in the tables. On the last day of 'De Parade' HUB Footwear has put one of the picnic tables, painted by Gino Hoiting, up for auction.

Summer time in Holland is celebrated at all the music festivals our country is famous for. In collaboration with 'de Parade', Hub Footwear has invited artists in every city to create artworks on the very same picnic tables used to hang out with your friends. Each artist uses the iconic Z-stitch to illustrate how they are connected to their city, thus creating a unique view on their city and HUB. As a place where people meet and activities flow it can be called one of the biggest pop-up HUB's in the Netherlands.

Now the weather is getting better, it's time to wear your favorite HUB sneakers again! For those wonderful spring days HUB is offering fabulous suede sneakers in soft colors. Like the Queen for her and the Subway for him. These HUB's are só comfortable, you might want to wear them without socks.... But beware; once you get your feet into a pair of those suede HUB sneakers, you won't be taking them off till next winter!

HUB's 5 year anniversary. Thank you to those who celebrated with us. Five years ago, three Dutch rebels born & raised in the city decided to take the plunge. Their creation is HUB. On the 19th of September HUB celebrated its birthday at the Supermarkt in the Hague.

Ja Blaks, the lead singer of the band “UNDEFINED”, totally rocks at the biggest city festival in Belgium; Marktrock Leuven. UNDEFINED was able to open the festival on the main stage 14th of August. The Bread & Butter in Berlin, or BBB for short, landed again on the former Tempelhof airport last weekend. Amongst all the brands HUB claimed their spot at the Sport & Street segment and presented the new collection to the international buyers market.
The Bright trade show in fact, is exactly what HUB is all about. Creating a hub where people meet and activities flow. Traditional trade show activities on the first and second floor, and a third floor reserved for interesting art projects. Several galleries, but also publishers like Gingko Press, showed their art and books.
